How Cancellations Affect Your Account

Every cancellation you initiate is logged against your provider record. These statistics are visible to Tekyeka and may factor into your standing on the platform.

What Is Tracked

  1. 1

    Cancellation count

    • Every provider-initiated cancellation is counted, regardless of reason
    • Visible in your profile stats
  2. 2

    Cancellation rate

    • The ratio of cancellations to accepted jobs is tracked over time
    • A high cancellation rate signals unreliability to the platform and customers

Consequences

Repeated cancellations or a pattern of last-minute cancellations may result in account review, reduced placement in wave notifications, or account termination. Tekyeka takes provider reliability seriously — customers depend on confirmed bookings.

Best Practices

  1. 1

Only offer on jobs you can commit to

    • Review the location, distance, and service type before submitting an offer
    • Do not offer on jobs outside your realistic service capacity
  2. 2

    Cancel early if necessary

    • If you must cancel, do it at the Booked stage — before you leave for the job
    • En Route and Arrived cancellations impact your stats more because the customer has already waited
