You need a licensed tow vehicle — flatbed, wheel-lift, or heavy-duty rig depending on the job types you want. Your equipment and certifications are verified during provider onboarding before you can receive job notifications.
How much do towing jobs pay on Tekyeka?
You set your own rates. Tekyeka does not take a platform cut from your towing earnings. You quote the customer, they accept, you get paid what you quoted. Towing jobs in metro areas typically run $75–$250+ depending on distance and vehicle type.
How are towing jobs matched to operators?

Do I need a CDL for towing jobs on Tekyeka?
CDL requirements depend on your rig's GVWR and the jobs you take. Most light-duty tow operators (flatbed under 26,000 lbs) do not require a CDL. Heavy-duty or combination vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVWR require a CDL. Tekyeka verifies your licensing during onboarding.
Can I accept both roadside assistance and towing jobs?
